Watercolor Workshops and Classes - Summer/Fall 2008 Class Schedule

College Courses: Sign up through the college. Bring whatever watercolor or acrylic materials you may already have to the first class. A materials list will be distributed in class, and you are expected to purchase your own. Materials lists are also posted on the college website, http://www.marincommunityed.org.

Julie Cohn’s Watercolor, Oils, Cartooning and Design

WEEKLY AND MONTHLY CLASSES IN BERKELEY AND MARIN

Tuesdays/Berkeley: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
open program of non-toxic media such as watercolor, water-soluble oil and cartooning, and demonstrations of new projects based on student interest. Fee ranges from $30.00 to $55.00 based on # of students — tends to be priced on the lower end.

Wednesdays/Berkeley: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
6 week courses in watercolor — theme is determined on the first day by students attending. Fee is $180.

Tuesday Once a Month/Berkeley: 2:00 to 5:00 pm
Design Class for all media using a great book about Design — The Artist’s Design Probing the Hidden Order by Marie MacDonnell Roberts.
Fee is $35 per class or $180 for each 6 month period.

Thursdays/College of Marin:
WATERCOLOR — plein air painting in the summer 2:10 to 5:00 pm, Koi and Tropical Fish workshop and Abstract class in the Fall, 1:40 to 4:30. Call me for more information or sign up on line at www.marincommunityed.org.

Saturday Once a Month/Berkeley: 9:30 TO 12:30 pm
Design Class for all media using a great book about Design — The Artist’s Design Probing the Hidden Order by Marie MacDonnell Roberts.
Fee is $35 per class or $180 for each 6 month period.

Saturdays Once a Month/Berkeley:
open program of non-toxic media such as watercolor, water soluble oil and cartooning, and demonstrations of new projects based on student interest.
Fee is $50 for 3 or 4 hours, depending on # of students.

France Workshop:
painting plein air (in the fresh air) — August 30 to September 13, 2008.
Just a bit of room left. Lots of room for the 2010 trip.

If you cannot make all of the days of any workshop given at my studio, full payment is still required, yet you may make-up the class at one of my 1st Saturday of the month workshops. I’m looking forward to painting with you!

Julie Cohn, teacher in the Bay Area for over 20 years, has studied with numerous masters of watercolors and oils. She earned her degrees in Fine Art, with a minor in Art History, at University of California, Berkeley, and College of the Arts, Oakland, California. Her artwork has shown in Galleries and Museums across the nation.
